Though Dirty Bourbon River Show is a collective of musicians, this group embodies the same bourbon-soaked soul of Tom Waits and would fit right in backing up the legendary growler. But this is no backup act. Dirty Bourbon River Show blends elements of big brass, folk, and punk, along with that recognizable Crescent City touch that the band describes as “New Orleans Big Brass Circus Rock”. The music is lots of fun and uplifting, and it’s a fitting soundtrack for walking on Bourbon Street.
